Excellent Sunday

Great day at Snowbasin training slalom in the morning. Fun lunch with my family and most of my nieces and nephews. Awesome pizza dinner with the in laws and that family. Now we are at home enjoying the porch a cold beverage and talking about how amazing the Yampa River is going to be.

Snowbasin Barbeque

Great spring barbeque at the Ogden Valley Ski Team yurt today. The weather at Snowbasin was amazing very summer like, felt like we passed spring right on by. Few more days of training a couple of races and the season will be wrapping up. Then it is off to white water, great rivers like the Yampa river and Green River. Looking towards an awesome season of rafting trips.

Snow Day?

It is cloudy, colder and breezy here in Telluride.  Supposed to be a decent snow storm coming in this afternoon. Not great for racing but fun for skiing. A bonus is it is added water to the snow pack for great summer river rafting adventures.
